Your account FAQ

Want to change your profile settings? No problem!

· Click the person icon or your profile picture in the upper right corner
· Click "Settings"
· Change your photo, name, username, bio, or location
· Save your changes

OR

· Go to your profile
· Click "Edit my profile" near the bottom left

Please note: Deleting your profile picture isn't possible at this time.

You can change your location by following these simple steps:

If you're using the mobile website:

· Tap the menu icon in the upper left corner
· Tap the location below the person icon or your profile picture
· Enter and select your desired location
· Tap "Set location"

If you're using the desktop website:

· Click the person icon or your profile picture in the upper right corner
· Click "Settings"
· Enter your postal code and select your neighbourhood
· Save your changes

We certainly don’t want to see you go, and we’d love to know what we can do to improve your Bargaincity experience. Please contact us with your comments, as we read them all and use them to make Bargaincity better!

If you've made up your mind about deleting your account, just follow these steps:

· Click the person icon or your profile picture in the upper right corner
· Click "Settings"
· Go to "Account" in the left menu
· Go down to the “Delete account” section
· Confirm deletion with your password
· Click the "Permanently delete my account" button
· Log out

Deleting your account is final and includes deleting all your account information. However, Bargaincity reserves the right to retain portions of your data for a limited time, as permitted by law. For example, for Trust & Safety purposes or to respond to Law Enforcement requests.

If you're experiencing issues while logging in to your Bargaincity account, try these steps to troubleshoot:

· Make sure you have good wi-fi or network signal. Try closing your browser and re-launching it.
· Make sure you're not attempting to register instead of logging in.
· Make sure you're logging in with the same email address you used to sign up.
· Make sure you're entering your email address it correctly.
· Make sure you're entering your password correctly. Click the eye icon in the password field to check it.
· Try resetting your password by clicking the "Forgot password?" link under password field. Make sure to enter the same email you used when you signed up.

If you're experiencing issues while creating a Bargaincity account, try these steps to troubleshoot:

· Make sure you have good wi-fi or network signal. Try closing your browser and re-launching it.
· Make sure you are using a valid invitation code.
· Make sure you don't already have an account created with the same email address.
· Make sure the password you're attempting to set is between 6 and 40 characters.

Our system or staff may have blocked your account for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to:

· Posting items that are on the prohibited items list
· Not following the Rules of Use that are outlined in our Terms & Conditions

If you believe you have been mistakenly blocked, please contact us so we can review your account and take appropriate action.

To log out of Bargaincity, follow these steps:

If you're using the mobile website:

· Go to your profile
· Tap the menu icon in the upper left corner
· Tap the "Log out" button at the bottom

If you're using the desktop website:

· Click your profile picture in the upper right corner
· Click "Log out"
